WASTE II

OBJECTIVE OF THE DAY: Getting to know why it is important to recycle aluminum and paper, and modify some habits.

Have you ever wondered if our school lunches could be more sustainable?
Are you aware of the consequences of such a daily action of wrapping the sandwich, every day, in aluminum foil? We generate waste that is difficult to handle and recover.
Do you know HOW IS THE ALUMINUM FOIL ROLL PRODUCED? Do you know the uses, the cost and the problems derived from the production of aluminum foil?

ACTIVITIES: WORKSHOP "THE BRIGHTEST SIDE" .Reduction of aluminum foil.

  • This workshop will try to make us think about the environmental problem represented by the use of this common material in daily life. To do so, we will measure the waste generated by the students at their breaks and we will calculate the CO2 emissions emitted by the aluminum foil.

  • Paper recycling workshop.
